sister time....so fabulous! I love my biggest little sis (yep, I have two) more than anything. We facetime often to catch up and see each others kids and just talk like sisters need to talk. She came and spent over a week with us and it was the best time ever (minus my kids getting super sick and having to stay home for two strait days and do NOTHING ) She totally understood, who with kids wouldn't?! anyway our sister time (and auntie time for the kids) together will be something I never forget. I am SO, SO blessed to have her as a sister, best friend and auntie to my kids. They really love her so much, it makes my heart so happy that they get time with her like I do.
After the kids were well again, they headed back to school and we went into Amsterdam. We had a fun walk around Vondel park, the museumplein shopping for souvenirs to bring back and even a boat tour through the canals. It was a great day.
Friday we headed out to the Keukenhof gardens with Amy and her parents
Here we stand in a field of tulips outside the gardens of Keukenhof...we pulled the car over on the side of the road, hopped a fence and started taking pictures...because we just couldn't believe out eyes! Field of tulips...it doesn't get more dutch than this! One of my fav things. (I seem to have a few don't I? Not such a terrible place to live. :))
