School for the youngsters...in Holland?! Yep, we need to figure that out too.
Well, we think we did.
Hooray, hooray we got word that the kids were accepted to the intl school that we applied to for them! (and what a process that was...a story for another time) I am happy, but I don't know anything about it and that is crazy! Who applies to a school they don't know about in a country they have never even been to? We HAVE heard through the grapevine that its a great school, a great community and a great location for youngsters to be educated in Holland, but we haven't seen it, or actually spoken to people about details of the school....yet we applied and plan to send our kids there. (call me crazy, I know!) We HAVE set up a tour for the week we arrive, we will get to see it, meet the teachers, find out more and hopefully, HOPEFULLY it all will be a good choice.
Sometimes, you really have to put your faith in the unknown and trust that you will be led on the path you are meant to go on. This is my mantra right now, its what gets me through the unknown, the uncertain of the exact answers. Its how I have to think, or I would be driving myself insane with anxiety. I am a type A, planner, and its hard to plan from half way across the world when you have never even BEEN there, and you cant just make a quick trip to figure out logistics. Plus, (partly my fault) our kids want to know things. They do (and I do too!) they have been raised to ask questions when they want to know things, and they trust that they will get answers (or at least help finding the real answers) but this is different. THIS is not something that I have the concrete answers to....we have to wait and discover the answers together, as we figure them out. Another life lesson, take note kids.
