Em picked out a scooter for Aidan...bc she has one and she wanted him to have one to go scootering with her. He actually really likes it. It was so special to see her think about him and pick out a special gift all on her own. (she even got him one that sparks...very fun! - spark plate in the back that you press while riding)

Happy birthday to our sweet, loving, kind, hard working boy! We can not believe you are 8! We are so blessed to be your parents and thank God for entrusting us to raise you. You challenge us and also help us be better humans because you care about everyone and everything around you. This past year of your life has been crazy, but honestly, what year hasn't been. You are tough and you are strong and yet you are very sensitive. You get through it, and you talk about things. You help us get through it. You are a delight and we can not wait to see the impact you have have on the world. Today you said you want to be a lego engineer and developer when you grow up, and that is very fitting. You will do whatever you set your mind to and work for. We hope this year is more settled, yet still full of fun and adventure. Daddy and I (and Em too) love you more than anything in the world.
