Just a quick note : Today is a new day! Horray! Kids still woke up in the middle of the night, but settled back down pretty quickly (lucky them, because the hubs and I of course did not :( ) Who cares if parents sleep, its the kids sleeping that matters the most. I would give up sleep for them to be asleep any day. Tummies seem to be settled at the moment (thank the Lord) and I successfully completed a load of laundry in the neat new tiny washer/dryer combo that takes HOURS to complete the smallest load I have ever had to do of laundry. Europeans are so much more compact in the ways they do things, we are certainly going to learn how to make a smaller footprint...a nice lesson.Check out the dial...letters as cycle options...seriously! Which would you choose? A, B, C, D? or N???? Ha! And temp in Celsius...a whole new world. Its interesting and much more efficient to just put a load in and when you take it out 3 hours later its washed and dry, but the mystery of which load to choose, I just don't get the thought behind that design.
More interesting finds to come. Next time perhaps ...the microwave/oven combo that we are still trying to figure out how to use! :) Again, the manual is in Dutch. I might be asking the lady downstairs that took me to the grocery store the first day. I am sure she could tell me quickly how to get the oven on. :)
